Loved it!! Located in Innere Stadt, the historic heart of Graz, Bar 28 combines the relaxed charm of a neighborhood pub with the energy of a modern sports bar. Only a short walk from the Hauptplatz and the Mur River, it sits among old façades and narrow streets where history and nightlife blend effortlessly. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and genuine — soft light, classic wooden tables, and a bar lined with craft beers and local brews. The playlist shifts between rock classics and indie favorites, adding to that familiar pub rhythm that makes you want to stay longer than planned. Screens show football and Formula 1, yet conversations flow just as freely as the beer. The food is far above the usual bar level: freshly prepared burgers, crisp fries, and seasonal snacks that pair beautifully with a cold Austrian ale. You can taste the care in the kitchen and see it in the service — friendly, fast, and unpretentious.

I've enjoyed the atmosphere at this bar. Me and my girl recommend it. It gave us such a Graz vibe . We visited in May, the weather outside was getting warm so everybody was sited at the outside terrace. There are cars passig by since it is a norma neighborhood street, but the people in Graz don't use cars that much so it was not noisy, nor problematic. We had some beers. Weissbier for me, pale ale for my girl. On the food side we wanted some fries or chips, we didn't see that on the menu so we stuck with our beers. They have burgers, nachos and stuff but we did not try them. Another aspect to take into account is that above the bar there are residential apartments and it is recommended to keep your voice down. We were ok with that. A plus for the bar is that it has a very chill, nice vibe and it is open until lat 12-1 o'clock at night which for Graz is a huuuge thing .

Really really great burger with fries, and my partner had the chicken salad, it was so nice that we went again. The staff were very friendly and put up with my school German (they all spoke very good English). The pinball machines were great fun. Relaxed atmosphere, highly recommended.

i went to watch a football game. the screen is really big compared to other bars i went on Graz. So if you want to catch a game, this is the place to go though i wish my fellow barmates were a bit more enthusiastic

Visiting Bar28 was a really nice experience. Club sandwich was fresh and crunchy, both french fries and onion rings perfect! Farmer’s burger also took only a minute to disappear. 10 out of 10 for the food and pro service!

Great pub! "American" pub food with great service and drinks. Watch soccer on the big screen, they even have American football playing sometimes. The music is great, and they have live music on the weekends. Everyone here speaks English. Super fun place to go with friends!

Great place, great food, great people. Lunch menus give a great value for the price. Comedy nights or different events are always fun and I really like the atmosphere at Bar28!
